The Denver Art Museum (DAM) presents a new exhibition, Design Lab that will challenge visitors’ views on traditional design practices and material use.

Renowned for their quest of unconventional design approaches, three local design studios, DoubleButter, MATTER and tres birds workshop, display noticeable installations emphasizing a range of disciplines from typography to architecture. The installations offer a peek into the design practices and how ideas evolve from the first inspiration to finished object.

Design Lab is on view July 27 through September 2, 2012 in the Martin and McCormick Gallery on level two of the Hamilton Building. For more information, visit http://denverartmuseum.org.
