Today, June 26th, The Spice Girls gathered to announce the launch of West End musical Viva Forever!, inspired by the 1990’s pop group’s greatest hits.

Gathering at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, which is featured in their 1996 music video “Wannabe,” Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melaine Chishold, Milanie Brown and Victoria Beckham showed their support for the new musical, which is set to open at the Piccadilly Theater on December 11.

According to advocate.com, the musical follows a young girl’s sudden rise to fame, written by comic Jennifer Saunders. Producer of the stage and film versions of Mamma Mia!, Judy Craymer, will be producing the highly anticipated musical.

Spice Girls hits that are to be featured in the show include “Two Become One” and “Spice Up Your Life.”
