Gay celebrity real estate agent Josh Flagg to host fundraiser for CAP

The gorgeous and successful gay real estate agent – and star of the Bravo television series about pricey LA-area homes, ‘Million Dollar Listing’ – Josh Flagg will be in Denver June 8 to host a fundraiser to raise money for the Denver Colorado AIDS Project.

The evening takes place in from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the penthouse of Residence XXV, 1891 Curtis St. Enjoy an evening of  hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer in the luxurious penthouse space; refreshments are compliments of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

At 8:30 p.m. the party moves to Chloe Mezze Lounge, 1445 Market St., for an after-party featuring small plates by executive chef Jose Guerrero, specialty cocktails and dancing in the custom-designed discotheque. Cover charge is waived until 10 p.m. for anyone who presents their DCAP Red Ribbon at the door.

Flagg is also a published author and one of Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30.”

Out Front Colorado caught up with the busy Flagg, to talk about his visit to Colorado, the Denver Colorado AIDS Project and his guilty pleasures.

How did this collaboration with the DCAP come about?

The wonderful Katherine Farrel approached me about working with DCAP, and I could not refuse!

How are you going to work in your realty expertise into this presentation?

I am going to do a question and answer for everyone, and answer any questions about high-end luxury real estate.

Have you been doing a lot of LGBT events since gaining notoriety as an out real estate mogul? What has that experience been like?

I do an equal amount of Real Estate and LGBT things alike, I was recently the Grand Marshal of the Long Beach PRIDE parade.

Do you feel your sexuality has entered more into your public identity since coming out on television a year ago?

I have been open to anyone who knew me for a while now, so coming out on TV was only natural.

Are you currently in a relationship?

Yes, I have been with my lovely boyfriend Colton for five years now.

What does Josh Flagg do for fun while he’s in Denver? Restaurants, hikes, outdoor sports?

Well, I am having a look at some of the luxury hotels in Denver for the new book that I am working on. And I will also be taking a tour of the AIDS project building here.

What is your one vice or guilty pleasure?

I would have to say my guilty pleasure would be collecting art, and antique memorabilia.
