The 25th Anniversary AIDS Walk Colorado was held on August 11th in Cheesman Park. The annual event is the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest and most successful HIV and AIDS fundraiser. Thousands of participants spent their Saturday morning helping raise money for the Colorado AIDS Project and 20 other AIDS service organizations. The event also featured panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt to remember those lost to the disease and concluded with a “Celebration of Life”, featuring food, music and beer.
