Partying with a purpose, more than 1,000 gays and lesbians and their allies gathered for the annual Pink Party hosted by Dr. Christopher Ott and his partner Jeremy Simons. Formally hosted at the couples home, the party has grown to be so popular, an outside venue was needed. Proceeds for the party were donated to One Colorado, the state’s largest LGBT advocacy organization. Both state Sen. Pat Steadman and Gov. John Hickenlooper spoke at the event.
