The sound of music comes alive at GALA’s Festival
The front range came alive with the sound of music as 45 ensembles, 130 choirs and 6,000 delegates converged on downtown Denver for the GALA Festival 2012. LGBT choirs from across the country and around the world performed at the Boettcher Concert Hall, Buell Theatre and Elli Caulkins Opera House from July 7 to July 11. Attendees also had time to attend workshops, socialize and enjoy Colorful Colorado. Several local groups that participated in the festivities included, the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, the Denver Women’s Chorus, Harmony: a Colorado Chorale and Out Loud: The Colorado Springs Men’s Chorus.
